Annual Telluride Events
It doesn’t have to be ski season to enjoy a trip to Telluride, Colorado; you’ll find something going on here all year-round. Make The Victorian Inn your home away from home when visiting for a special event, like the Telluride Fire Festival and Comedy Festival.
Mountainfilm Telluride takes place May 25-28, 2018. Held every Memorial Day weekend, Telluride Mountainfilm is a documentary film festival that showcases nonfiction stories about environmental, cultural, climbing, political and social justice issues that matter. Along with exceptional documentaries, the festival goes beyond the film medium by bringing together world-class athletes, change makers and visionary artists for a multi-dimensional celebration of indomitable spirit. Mountainfilm, which includes interactive talks, free community events, a gallery walk, and outdoor programming and presentations, aims to inspire audiences to action on worthy causes.
Telluride Balloon Festival
Mountainfilm Telluride takes place June 1-3, 2018. The 34th Annual Telluride Balloon Festival features an early morning launch on Friday morning and ends with the “glow” on Main Street in the evening. Saturday afternoon, there will be a photography workshop geared specifically to photographing balloons. Sunday morning the balloons are scheduled to launch again from Town Park.
